I’m still relatively new to Milwaukee, having moved here from San Francisco two years ago. The reason why I havn’t been able to familiarize myself with the city quickly is because I travel for work, and now commute to Chicago for school, so I’m not sure if this bridge has an official name. I only know it as the Marsupial Bridge beside Lakefront Brewery because that’s what my boyfriend calls it, so that’s what I’m going to call it too. What I loved about Milwaukee instantly was the grittiness and industrial architecture of the city. I love San Francisco, don’t get me wrong, and I miss living in the Bay Area dearly, but sometimes the city can be “too pretty”; sometimes a city needs to be a little bit more raw looking aesthetically, for it to feel a bit more urban for me.
