Lake Michigan

This is probably my most favourite weave so far. When I think of the colour of water or air, especially when I was a kid trying to represent water and air, I would use the colour blue. But ‘blue’ placed beside water in an open space looks ‘blue’, while the water takes on the feeling of coldness from its glassy surface instead of acquiring a feeling of ‘colour’, and the air takes on the feeling of crispness, instead of representing an atmospheric colour. This makes me wonder what I was trying to represent when I would use blue to represent water or the air.
