Michigan between Adams & Jackson, Chicago

This is right across from the Art Institute of Chicago museum, my school campus is in this vicinity and partly attached to the museum (aren’t we lucky?). I would like to think of this as my birthday weave, since I did this on my birthday. I was pretty excited to do this as I havn’t weaved in Chicago until now.
I chose grey as the warp because when I try to imagine a colour that would identify a city, I instantly think of the colour grey. The funny thing about this yarn is that it’s Italian Merino wool, organic hand dyed- beautiful beautiful yarn, but very brittle (one of the warp lines broke while I was weaving). So the colour may reflect the idea of a city, but the strength of the yarn does not reflect the strength of the concrete found in a city.
