Marsupial Bridge (revisited)

We’re still in a pandemic:/

Process-wise, I wanted these to be a bit more intimate in size, resembling the blue surgical face masks that have become eponymous with the pandemic.

I forgot how delicate it is to weave with soft yarn; there’s pretty much no tension to hold the warp without assistance, unlike the larger yarn I was using for the black squares and the previous large blue weaving

But with a little patience, they all turned out. They sagged a bit, like a mask improperly worn on the face, not covering the nose (and mouth). Originally I wanted to weave a rectangle on each of the spaces under the bridge, but it was cold, and I stopped at 5; 5 still looked like enough. Next time I’ll do the whole thing…
